Green Day

Green Day was observed by  West Point Sr Sec School to raise awareness about the importance of the in or lives. The Programme not just highlighted about the challenges we face, but also about the many initiatives, small and large, that School is involved in making sure that our surrounding becomes a better, safer, more equitable place for everyone. 

Green Day was commemorated with a host of activities across grades, starting off with plantation of saplings by the Chief Guest, Speaker SLA Shri K.N Rai, special guest Shri K.T Gyaltsen, Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Principal, Officers from Forest Department, and other officials, Guardians, Local Public and SMC Members.

"MAYA" Project of the School display and expressed their commitment to the cause in a medium cutting across barriers of age and language through the eco-friendly artistic expression and display. 

Various and classes and clubs of the School targeted their campaign within the School premises by displaying,  various handicrafts, traditional products, food corners, games and activities corner, medicinal plants stalls etc. The senior school students took up the responsibilities of generating awareness beyond the School boundary in the neighbourhood by orginizing skit and role plays on environment.
